The symptoms of a bladder infection / urinary tract infection vary greatly, and range from mild discomfort with frequent urination to high fevers, shock and even death. The latter is usually associated with a severe infection of the kidneys in a person in a weakened condition. Some of the symptoms seen with a bladder infection include:
- Frequent urination
- Burning upon urination
- Urgency of urination
- Foul smelling urine
- Bloody, pink or cloudy urine
- Pain in the lower abdominal / pubic region
